In South Korea, 'Reborn Rich' achieved record-breaking viewership. Centered around reincarnation and revenge, this chaebol K-drama was hailed as one of the best dramas of the year.

The original story does not have romantic elements, and Seo Min-Young accounts for a very small proportion of the story line. However, in the drama, their love story is quite heavily shown. A love story is one of the success elements that most drama fans go crazy about.

Park Ji Hyun takes on the role of Mo Hyun Mi, the only daughter of Hyunsung Ilbo's owner and the wife of Jin Seong Joon, the eldest grandson of the Soonyang Conglomerate.

The character of Do Jun had the saddest conclusion and it felt a forced way out for Soonyang which made the conclusion unsatisfactory. Had it not been for the ending, the drama definitely had the best output of its potential.

Hae-In went to meet Hyun-Woo in prison. Hyun-Woo promised not to give up, but Hae-In didn't want to see him anymore. However, her heart fluttered due to Hyun-Woo's concern for her.

Reborn Rich received audience acclaim and became the second highest-rated series in Korean cable television history, with its final episode recording 26.9% nationwide ratings.

But the TV series instead ended with Yoon waking up from a coma -- the battle over succession had all been but a futile dream. Yoon, who in the first episode, fell off a cliff after being shot, had fallen unconscious. In the last episode, he wakes up a week later only to find that Jin Do-jun died in a car accident.

Reborn Rich is a must watch. Prosecutor Seo deserved better and i only wished they were going to make a season 2. We'll miss miracle investment and this show and i hope they return with something similar or better, i highly recommend you watch it.

The drama won the best series award in 2023 Seoul Drama Awards held on Sept.

An industry official said Chairman Jin in the drama was created based on anecdotes about the Samsung founder and other stories of various chaebol chairmen because some scenes are reminiscent of the Samsung founder's story.

"Although 'Reborn Rich' is a fantasy, it seems like a period drama by featuring well-known events from modern Korean history," Gong Hee-jung, a drama critic, said. "It allows viewers to predict the plot and compare the scenes with the real events."
