Does Zelle work with TD Bank?
Send Money with Zelle® is easy, fast and free for TD customers. If you have a TD personal checking or money market account, e-mail address and U.S. mobile number, you can: Send money to almost anyone in the U.S. with a U.S. bank account using their e-mail or U.S. mobile number – even if they aren't a TD customer.
To get started, log into TD Online Banking or the TD Bank app and select “Zelle®”. Enter your email address or U.S. mobile number, receive a one-time verification code, accept the terms and conditions and you are ready to start receiving and sending money with Zelle®.

Zelle® doesn't charge a fee to send or receive money. We recommend confirming with your bank or credit union that there are no fees for Zelle® transactions.
Money sent with Zelle® is typically available to an enrolled recipient within minutes. If it has been more than three days, we recommend confirming that you have fully enrolled your Zelle® profile, and that you entered the correct email address or U.S. mobile number and provided this to the sender.
If you're already enrolled with Zelle®, you don't need to do anything to receive money--payments will move directly into the checking account associated with your Zelle® profile, typically within minutes.

If your bank or credit union offers Zelle®, please contact them directly to learn more about their sending and receiving limits through Zelle®. If your bank or credit union does not yet offer Zelle®, your weekly send limit is $500 and your weekly receive limit is $5,000 in the Zelle® app.
FAQs. Can I send $5,000 through Zelle? Most banks have daily sending limits that are less than $5,000. You can split up a $5,000 payment into transactions on multiple days to adhere to their limits.
Can I send money from TD Bank to another bank?

The Send Money transfer fee, if applicable, is charged to the account from which the money is sent at the time it is sent5. The Request Money transfer fee, if applicable, is charged to the account into which the money is deposited at the time of deposit, if the recipient accepts the request5.
TD Transfer Fee is up to $25 per transfer. The transfer fee amount is dynamic and will vary depending on the amount being sent, the recipient country and the currency of the account funding the transaction.
Unlike many money transfer apps, Zelle does not charge a fee for instant transfers. Zelle transfers are generally secure, but the app does carry risks, including the risk of glitches at banks that can affect money transfers.
Both of the payment services are decently safe, have user-friendly interfaces, and allow you to conveniently send money when you need it. Zelle stands out from Venmo with its absence of instant transfer fees, but it also cannot be used as a wallet. So, if you need a wallet function, you should go for Venmo .
Zelle requires a bank account to send and receive money, but you may be able to sign up with select prepaid Visa or Mastercard debit cards. Unfortunately, not all prepaid debit cards will work with Zelle, but you'll have the best luck with cards that requires a phone number, billing address, and email address.
How to Get Your Money Back. Zelle is processing each scam claim they receive on a case-by-case basis. If you haven't already done so, file a claim directly with Zelle through their app or by phone (844-428-8542). You'll also need to file a claim with the bank or credit union your funds were taken.

Zelle payments typically take a few minutes to process, but they can sometimes take up to 3 business days. If you don't see the payment in your Zelle account after 3 business days, contact Zelle support for assistance.

Some scams encourage people to upgrade their Zelle accounts to a business tier to receive money from a buyer, according to the Better Business Bureau, and come from emails mimicking Zelle, but with different domains.
