Mandy Rose has given her first interview since her release from WWE. Rose (whose real name is Amanda Saccomanno), was released by WWE on December 14, just one day after her 413-day reign as NXT Women's Champion was ended by Roxanne Perez.

Speaking on the Tamron Hall Show, Rose said she was left "hurt" and "disappointed" over the release, especially considering her run as NXT Women's Champion.

"I’m hurt. 100%. I’m very hurt," Rose said. "No one wants to get that call that you’re being fired from any job.

"So, I was very hurt. I was very disappointed. I was disappointed so much more because of everything that I put into the business, but just the last year-and-a-half. I was champion for 413 days. I unified those two titles [NXT Women's Championship and NXT UK Women's Championship]. I was the third-longest reigning NXT women’s champion.

"I also created a must-see faction with two other women that I also brought up, and I got to see so many women develop their characters. They’re all younger than me and really in the beginning of their careers. To me, that was important, because it was really so rewarding for me."

At the time of her release, it was reported by Fightful that WWE felt the content Rose was posting on her FanTime page was "outside of the parameters of her WWE deal". Rose said she was not told that her FanTime page was the reason for her release.

When asked if she would go back to WWE, Rose said: "I would say, obviously, never say never. I'm not moving on and looking back and being like... yes, that is my past. Never say never. I don't know what the future holds."

Rose then said it would "have to be a conversation" if she was asked to take her FanTime account down as a condition for returning. Following her WWE release, Rose made $1 million on FanTime in a month.
