Is auto tool change a requirement?
Even though our Spartan range of CNC routers is impressive in its own right, they do miss out on some features such as the auto tool change function and additional items like servo drives, higher-powered air-cooled spindles etc.
This means that if you need auto tool change functions that allow the operator to program their software to produce a number of different tool paths, thus allowing the machine to interpret these steps and automatically choose the right tool in the rack, pick it up and continue processing the job. This is all done without the operator needing to stop the machine and change tools.
Machines to look out for are our Falcon ATC and Apollo ATC range, fully equipped with automatic tool change to reduce production times.
Do you need advanced functions or 4-axis, dual-bed systems?
If your application or business needs advanced functionality then you may need to look at our machines that operate using our M-TECH CNC motion control or Syntec (for dual bed, oscillating knife, drill bank, 4 Axis etc).

CNC Router Software – What CAD/CAM Package Comes With Our Routers?
All of our CNC routers come with Vectric V Carve Pro as standard with upgrades available to Aspire or Alphacam should you need them. Find out more about how V Carve can help you achieve your production goals:
VCarve Pro provides a powerful but intuitive software solution for creating and cutting parts on a CNC Router. VCarve Pro gives you the power to produce complex 2D patterns with profile, pocket, drill and inlay toolpaths, plus gives you the ability to create designs with v-carving textures as well as import and machine unlimited Vectric 3D clipart or single model files. The ‘Pro’ edition gives you unlimited job and toolpath size, true shape nesting & job set-up sheets, ideally suited to a production environment. Remember all of our CNC routers include training on VCarve Pro.
2-Sided Machining
Easily create double-sided projects in the same session instead of using 2 separate sessions.
Drawing & Layout
VCarve Pro has a full comprehensive set of features to easily let you create complex vectors from within the package, or even imported data.

Automatically arrange and fit vector shapes into your material size, getting optimal material usage with minimum waste materials.
Pro Features
Create merged toolpaths, and job sheet summaries and generate toolpath templates to enhance the efficiency of workflow and production times. By using the array toolpath function you can duplicate toolpaths as a block-based upon the dimension you input.
Toolpaths
Covering all typical 2D routing operations, 2.5D & 3D machining strategies. Toolpaths can be easily previewed to show the user how the part will look when cut on their CNC router.
3D Component Editing
Shapes can be easily scaled, moved, mirrored and grouped. VCarve also allows you to smooth a 3D object. The software also has a tool to Z-slice a part to create separate models if your CNC size, tooling or material limits the depth of part you can cut.
3D View
Many of the dynamic component editing tools can be accessed directly from the 3D view. This allows 3D objects to be moved, scaled and rotated. In addition, how they combine with other shapes can be adjusted along with their height and evenadding a tilt or fade.

A DSP control system for some CNC routers utilises aneasy-to-use hand control pendant rather than relying on a graphical interfaceon a larger monitor.DSP systems tend to be more affordablethan their large-screened alternative CNC routers.We supply both our standard DSP control systems alongside our in-house developed M-TECH CNC motion control systemthat combines a full PC-based system and touch screen, alongside a wireless MPG control pendant.
As standard,all of our CNC routers come complete with a high-performance zoned matrix vacuum bed. Some of our models also combine T-Slot clamping systems with a vacuum bed giving you the best of both worlds. You can also configure our CNC routers with a T-Slot clamping bed that runs the length and width of the CNC bed, removing the vacuum altogether.All vacuum systems consist of a high-performance vacuum bed and powerful vacuum pump/s.
Yes, all of our CNC routers come complete with our industry-leading warranty,ranging from 12 months to 2 years depending upon which range.
Of course. We can offer all of our customers anextended warranty up to 5 yearsdepending upon your requirements. We can also offer all customers service level agreements, please discuss this with either one of our Mantech sales representatives or the service team.
Should you not find what you’re looking for within our standard sizes, we can manufacture custom systems to suit your needs. Please note, this would be a factory order and not ordered from stock.
The Spartan CNC Router buy-back scheme allows our customers who purchase one toupgrade for less in the future. You can upgrade to one of our more advanced CNC router systems in and trade in yourSpartan CNC for up to 3 years and get favourable rates on our buyback. Ask the team for more information.
Yes, all of our CNC routers come complete with installation and training, ensuring you and your operators are capable of operating the machine in a safe manner. Should you require training for new operators, you can arrange this with one of our support staff at any point.
